The Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Board of Governors is pleased to introduce
Josh White as their 2024 New Hampshire Head Coach.
Coach White will lead his team of 38 of New Hampshire’s best senior players into the
71st Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Game which will be played at Dave Wolk Stadium
on the campus of Vermont State University in Castleton, VT
on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Josh White is in his 14th year as a Physical Education teacher. Josh currently teaches
at Sanborn Regional High School, and coaches several of the school’s athletics.
After graduating from Pinkerton Academy in 2004, Josh went on to play football at Plymouth State University for 4 years. After graduating from Plymouth State, he served on the staff at many
different schools including Londonderry, Spaulding, and Sanborn Regional.
Josh has been on the Sanborn staff for 10 years, while heading the program for the past 5.
In their most recent season, Sanborn finished 6-3, earning a trip to the NH Division II playoffs.

2022 Governor’s Council, NH CHART Award
2019, 2020, 2021 YMCA Leadership in Education Award
Josh lives in Londonderry, NH with his wife Jessica, and two children, Lillian and Layla White.

Assistant Coaches
Coach Tim Snow
Coach Snow is the Head Coach at Franklin High School, going into his 4th season. Previously, he was the Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator at Winnisquam High School for 12 years. Tim had back-to-back State Championships in 2017 and 2018. He was also the Head Coach and State Director for Team NH in the Football University National Tournament for 4 years. |
Coach Colin McQueen
Coach McQueen has been a Head Coach at Amesbury (MA) High School for the past 7 sea sons. He has a career record of 46-26 over those 7 seasons. Before that, he served for two years as an assistant at Amesbury and for three years as an assistant at Sanborn Regional High School, where he teaches. His team has been named Cape Ann League Champions 3 times (2018, 2021, 2022). In post-season play, they have reached the State Quarterfinals 3 times (2018, 2019, 2021), the State Semi-finals in 2022, and the State final in 2023. Colin was named Cape Ann League Coach of the Year 4 times (2018, 2021, 2022, 2023), and was named the Div. 5 Coach of the Year in 2018, and the Div. 7 Coach of the Year in 2022 by the Boston Globe. |
Coach Josh Trisciani
Coach Trisciani is in his 45th season of coaching football. Throughout those years, he has coached at the Youth, High School, and Collegiate levels. Josh most recently accepted the head coaching position at Hollis Brookline High School. |
Coach Layne Britton
Coach Britton has been coaching for more than 20 years in a number of different capacities. He has coached football at both the semi-pro and High School levels. Most recently, for the past 2 seasons, Layne has served at Sanborn Regional High School’s JV coach and the JV baseball coach (where he was named JV coach of the year.) |
Coach James Roy
Coach Roy grew up in Laconia, NH playing Pop Warner Football. He went on to play at Laconia High School, where he was a Tri-Captain and a two time first-team All-State player. In 1987, James was elected to the Shrine football team. He started his coaching career in 1988 as an assistant coach at Laconia High School. From 1989-1992, he was an assistant coach for Pop Warner, when his career took him away from the game until his son, Jeff, started playing Laconia Youth Football. At that time, James was the head coach and also served as a board member from 2002–2016. He was also an assistant coach at LHS from 2007–2018. After taking a couple of years off from coaching, he returned to coach at Franklin High in 2021 and is still an Assistant Coach there today. |
